Armed forces thank ‘Covid warriors’ In a thanksgiving exercise to laud the efforts of the country’s healthcare workers engaged in the fight against Covid-19, the Armed forces are holding several “special activities”, including military band displays and flypasts to shower flower petals on hospitals treating coronavirus patients.

Later in the evening, the navy will light up its warships to express their gratitude towards the frontline workers.
While briefing the media on Friday, Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat said: “Air Force will conduct flypast from Srinagar to Trivandrum and another one starting from Dibrugarh in Assam to Kutch in Gujarat. It will include both transport and fighter aircraft.”
The Army on its part conducted mountain band displays along some of the Covid-19 hospitals in almost every district of the country,. The thanksgiving activities started with laying of wreaths at the police memorial in Delhi and in other cities honouring the police personnel deployed for enforcement of the nationwide lockdown.
It was really a breath taking action where it touched all Indians for the love & respect shown to ‘Covid warriors’. Whole country saww the wonderful display of our armed forces.

he Indian Air Force, Army and Navy joined hands today to express their gratitude to healthcare workers, police, and forces at the frontlines of the battle against the Covid-19 pandemic. To show their support to Covid-19 warriors, flypasts, lit-up ships and musical tributes by army bands outside hospitals took place across the country. From Srinagar to Hyderabad, Mumbai to Itanagar, the flypasts by the air force and the navy added to the tribute.
